Welcome! This website contains a repository of professional, academic, and personal information about Jeffrey J. Smith. I am a graduate of the University California, Berkeley, having earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Biology. I relocated to New York, NY in June 2007 to enter the exciting world of software engineering the financial industry, and work as a full-time technical consultant for Enterprise trading platforms in use at large financial institutions. My social interests include piano performance, music composition, art, theatre, comedy, and other forms of live entertainment. Some of my music compositions have been recorded and are available to download free for personal use. On occasion, I've been known to attend book clubs and scientific/philosophical lectures for personal enrichment and debate, and I'm always seeking more people with whom to cultivate these passions.
